Project: Mountain Modern Bathroom · Northern California
The Client
The Brief
What We Did
We rebalanced the entire suite:
- Squared off the hall bath and repositioned the tub and toilet to use space more efficiently.
- Created a curbless wet room at the end of the primary bath with a freestanding tub and large shower—visually dramatic and highly functional.
- Tucked the toilet into a U‑shaped alcove, keeping it out of the main sightline.
- Replaced the reach‑in closet with custom wardrobe cabinets along the approach to the bathroom, and added a matching double‑sink vanity beyond—turning the zone into a walk‑through wardrobe rather than a dark closet.
The key to this transformation? Borrowing space from the adjacent and oversized hall bath.
