Modern Yellow and White Bathroom Sketch by Interior Designer Jackie Lopey Wide Canvas

Yellow: "Pick me, pick me!" 95% of us: "Uh, no."

Design and sketch by Jackie Lopey

I read that yellow is the least popular color. Only 5% of us say it's our favorite! Yellow is the color of sunshine and daisies and lemons. It doesn't seem fair. So, I thought it would be fun to design a modern, grown-up room around yellow - a color that I happen to love.

The walls and tiles are bright white against the bold yellow vanity and linen cabinet. Cubes and rectangles of various sizes - in the vanity, the tile, the mirrors, the lights and the window -  play off each other. There's just a hint of green in the towels.
What do you think? Would you choose yellow for your home?
