Somebody asked me today, "What's your blog about?" At that moment, I gave the first answer that came to mind: that my blog is about interior design. And, that's true.

With a little more time to think about it, I realized that while true my answer wasn't complete.

This blog is about a thoughtful approach to interior design.

It's devoted to exploring the ideas behind good design.

It's about lifting the veil and revealing the processes professional interior designers use.

And, it's all in support of the you.

She didn't know it, but Jackie Lopey's days as an advertising executive were numbered when she bought and renovated a 1950's bungalow. She soon went back to school and started her own design studio. Jackie is an award-winning, California certified interior designer and the founder of Wide Canvas.
